Children's Ministry

 

At First Baptist, Paris, children are a very exciting part of the life of our church. We hope to help you by giving your children opportunities to grow physically, socially and, most importantly, spiritually. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to lead your child to not only know Him" but to be more like "Him."

Here are a few of the many activities found in the Children's Ministry of First Baptist Church:

 

Sunday School begins at 9:45 a.m. There are grade-level classes available for every child.

 

Every Sunday during both morning worship services, children are invited to come to the altar for a brief object lesson taught by Mrs. Angela. The worship service times are 8:30 and 11 a.m.

 

This program focuses on Scripture memorization and familiarization with the location of all the books of the Bible. Bible Drill is offered on Sundays from 5 to 5:50 p.m. Children who participate in Bible Drill have opportunities to compete in church, associational and regional level competitions.

 

Choirs meet from 6 to 6:45 p.m. each Wednesday. A culmination of music learned is presented twice a year at the Children's Christmas and Spring programs.

 

Children have the opportunity to study and participate in missions classes from 6:45 to 7:30 each Wednesday.
