Meet the FBC Staff
 Dr. Trent BullockSenior Pastor
Bro. Trent was elected as senior pastor of First Baptist Church in January 2009. He has a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., a Master of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Biblical Studies from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Religion from Union University. Bro. Trent and his wife, Lori, have two children.
Rev. Larry Simmons Executive Pastor
 Bro. Larry has been serving as Executive Pastor since October, 2000. He has a Master of Divinity Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Bro. Larry and wife, Debbie, have three children and two granddaughters. Rev. C. Scott Shepherd
Minister of Music and Worship
 Bro. Scott has been serving as Minister of Music and Worship since May, 2002. He has a Master of Divinity Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and a Bachelor in Music Education Degree from Shorter College in Rome, Georgia. Bro. Minister of Students, Media, and Activities
 Bro. Matt has been serving as Minister of Students, Media, and Activities since July, 2002. He has a Master of Divinity Degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. Bro. Director of Middle School and Children
 Angela has been serving as Director of Middle School and Children since August, 2006. She has a Master of Science Degree in Education from the University of Memphis in Memphis, Tennessee, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. Director of Senior Adults
 Shirley has been serving as Director of Senior Adults since August, 2007. She has a Master of Science Degree in Education from the University of Tennessee at Martin, and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. Shirley and husband, Doug, have one daughter and two grandchildren.
