• What time should I arrive?

We recommend that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the event you are attending so you can park and find a seat.

  • where is the ENTRANCE?

We have three main entrances. On Ruff Street, you can climb the steps and enter through the sanctuary doors or you can enter through our South Welcome Center, which has elevator access. We also have an entrance on Brewer Street, which includes our East Welcome Center and is near the gym, walking track and fellowship hall. At our Welcome Centers, someone will greet you and help you find your way to the sanctuary or a classroom.

  • where do i park?

Because of our location near downtown, parking is available in all marked spaces around the church. We also have two parking lots on the east side of the church off Brewer Street.

  • what do i wear?

You are welcome at First Baptist Church of Paris just as you are. We have members in coats and ties, members in jeans and t-shirts and everywhere in between. We meet to worship the Lord and fellowship with other believers. We believe that it's the attitude of your heart that matters to God, rather than your physical appearance.

  • Where do i sit?

You may sit wherever you feel comfortable in our sanctuary. If you have difficulty locating a seat, our ushers are happily available to assist you. Wheelchair access and seating is available on the main floor.

  • How long is the service?

Our Sunday services are approximately one hour and fifteen minutes in length.

  • What style of worship is used?

Our church offers a blended style of music with a mix of hymns and modern worship songs, led by our choir and orchestra. Occasionally, other groups such as our student choir, children choirs, and praise band will lead in worship.

  • Is there something for my children during the morning worship service?

We believe families should worship together, so every member is welcome in our services. Because of this belief, we offer a way for your child to learn and worship with us. Each week, there is a children's time during the service when children are invited to come to the front of the sanctuary for a special lesson just for them. If you have a preschooler under the age of 4, you can count on a safe, secure, nurturing classroom, staffed with adults who will love and care for your child while you worship.

  • What version of the bible do you use?

Our pastor preaches from the Christian Standard Bible. We accept all versions of the Bible that hold true to God's Word.

  • How do i get involved in a small group?

Our Sunday School classes are groups that meet on Sunday mornings at 9am. For assistance in finding a class that fits your life stage, please visit one of our Welcome Centers. We also offer Discipleship Groups at 6pm on Sunday evenings.
